Bamboo

Bamboo flooring being installed in guest bedroom.

Dog Door #2

2nd dog door installed - this is in the master bedroom.  Didn't like the original location to the right - so that still needs to be patched.

Master Bedroom

Master bedroom is painted and also wired for flat panel TV.

Guest Bedroom

Old floor is out and room is painted.

Wired

Room is painted and wired for flat panel TV and surround sound.  Next up is the bamboo flooring.

Side Gate

New side gate.  Not a fan of those hinges - those need to be changed for different hardware and the shrubbery right against the house will have to go.

Drywalled

Ready for the rack to be installed.

Kitchen Update

Some of the plumbing lines were replaced, and the HVAC duct was rerouted to ceiling.   Kitchen is now drywalled and painted - ready for cabinets.

The Bar

Recessed lights installed and electrical run - ready for the bar.

BBQ

The BBQ and raised platform were both removed - this area will be filled in with concrete.  The gas, water, and electrical lines will be rerouted by the new garage where at a later date we will have a new BBQ constructed.

HVAC

New slider (well, half of it), window, recessed lights, and HVAC unit installed in office.  Floor has been levelled and is ready for the bamboo flooring.

New Window

There was a stained glass window in the master bedroom that didn't really match the house - this was replaced with a standard window.

Too Much Glue

 

Whoever installed the hardwood floors in the guest bedroom used way too much adhesive and/or the wrong type.  Unfortunately, this is the only way to remove the flooring.
